At Runable, we’re developing AI-powered automation agents that can operate seamlessly across desktop, browser, and mobile environments. We’re pushing the boundaries of multi-agent systems and intelligent automation, powered by LLMs and robust cloud infrastructure.

As an Applied AI Engineer, you will work at the intersection of AI and infrastructure, building sophisticated multi-agent systems, optimizing LLM behavior, and deploying intelligent automation at scale.

What You’ll Do

1. LLM Integration & Development:
   • Develop and optimize multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, or similar.
   • Implement custom runtime logic for task orchestration across different automation layers.
2. Code & Prototype:
   • Write high-quality, production-ready code in Python or TypeScript.
   • Rapidly build and deploy prototypes while maintaining performance and reliability.
3. LLM Fine-Tuning & Optimization(Optional):
   • Fine-tune language models for custom behaviors and specific workflows.
   • Explore new memory architectures and state management approaches for persistent AI agents.
4. Experimental Projects:
   • Dedicate 10-20% of your time to experimental projects, exploring cutting-edge techniques in AI automation.
   • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in open-source agent systems and AI frameworks.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI, automation, or multi-agent systems.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with a portfolio of shipped projects or significant open-source contributions.
• Experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI SDK, LangGraph, or similar.
• Strong understanding of LLM fine-tuning, state management, and memory architectures.
• Excited to work in-person from our Bangalore office, collaborating closely with the team.
